AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, COUJN COUNTY, TEXAS,
CHANGING THE NAME OF SUNCREEK BOULEVARD TO "SUNCREEK
DRIVE •; AMENDING ALL ORDINANCES OR PORTIONS OF ORDINANCES O
IN CONFLICT IE?REWMI; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, the current name of Suncreek Boulevard is inconsistent with the surrounding street names;
and,
WHEREAS, the developers of the Suncreek Addition have requested the name of Suncreek Boulevard
be changed to Suncreek Drive; and,
WHEREAS, Suncreek Boulevard connects to Twin Creeks Drive to the north, and Alma Drive to the
south, and has been constructed as an undivided residential collector street rather than a divided
boulevard; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas, is of the opinion that the name of Suncreek
Boulevard should be changed to Suncreek Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALLEN,
TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The street named Suncreek Boulevard be, and is by these presents hereby officially
changed and redesignated as "Suncreek Drive."
SECTION 2• As a result of this change, the City of Allen will provide for notification of said change
and redesignation to all public utilities and postal authorities.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or portions of ordinances of the City of Allen in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby amended to conform to the provisions of this ordinance.
SECITON 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately from and after its adoption.
