In accordhnce with Article 6252-17, V.A.T.C.S. (Open
Meetings Law), Section 2(g), the City Council and the City
Manager convened into the budget workshop executive session
at 7:00 p.m. in the Quarter Deck meeting room at Tanglewood
Resort, Pottsboro, Lake Texoma, Texas, in order to discuss
matters pertaining to the FY 1986 - 87 personnel budget
matters.
The budget workshop executive session was adjourned
at 10:00 p.m. on August 8, 1986.
August 9, 1986 - 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
The City Council and City Staff reconvened into the
budget workshop session at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 9,
1986, in the Quarter Deck meeting room at Tanglewood
Resort.
Finance Director Charlotte Smith presented to the Council
a presentation on the following categories and the Council discussed:
1. Budget Summaries
2. Revenue and Expenditure Calculations and
Documentation
3. General Items and Building Maintenance Budgets
4. Percentages of Revenues to Expenditures
5. Comparative Calculations

their proposed budgets and discussed them with the City Council:

4:00 - 5:30 p.m. - Administration Budget Review

The City Council and the appropriate city staff
departments reconvened into the budget workshop session
at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 10, 1986, in the Quarter
Deck meeting room of the Tanglewood Resort.
The following city staff department heads then presented
their proposed budgets and discussed them with the City
Council:

Budget Reviews and Recreation

4. Library (Library Director)
3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. - Recap of Budget Items
The City Council and the City Manager discussed various
aspects of the budget workshop, critique the workshop pre-
sentations and discussed any other unfinished business per-
taining to the FY 1986 - 87 Budget.
