Motion by R.J .McClure that we take $2,000.00 off of the personal
rendition of the Stacy Gin Property; this being an amendment to
the minutes of the Equalization Board meeting of July 12, 1966. The
rendation did read $20,000.00, and will now read $18,000.00 on pers-
onal property. Motion sec by L.P.Speight . (4) Four for / (1) One against (J.C.H.)
The following was presented by Alderman Fred Day.
WE the Town Council of Allen give Mayor V.B. Watson the arthoriza-
tion to appoint Mike Downer City Marshall of the Town of Allen.
The Council has the authority to relieve him (Mike Downer) of his
duties at any time they think it necessary. We the Town Council grant
him $5.00 per MONTH on his operating expense plus his usual FEE for
each arrest . Motion second by L.P. Speight, (5) Five ayes / noes none.
