Regular Meeting 4th Thursday
' May 27, 1982 7:30 p.m.
Community Meeting Room
Members Present: Ron Workman, Bob Outman, Russell Bratcher
I. Meeting was called to order by Ron Workman at 8:10 p.m.
II. The Minutes from April 22 and May 13 were approved with corrections.
III. Bob Outman requested a time limit on the agenda. He would also like
to move the start time to an earlier hour.
Motion: to place item on the agenda to have a different starting time.
Motion by Bob Outman, seconded by Russell Bratcher. 2 Yes 1 No
(Ron Workman, dissenting vote)
IV. A Park Status Report was given by the Director on the development of
Reed Park.
The start of the acquisition of Ford Park having completed the Appraisal.
Also requested special committee to set up a special event for the
dedication of Reed Park. Russ Bratcher and Bob Outman volunteered for
this committee.
V. The Board had a work session for the Policy, Rules and Regulations Manual,
Suggested Outline:
I. P & R Philosophy
II. Organisation
A. Council
B. City Manager
C. Park Director
D. Board
III. Operation of P & R
IV. Manual
A. Rationale
B. Conduct
C. Facilities
1. Park Procedures
2. Etc.
D. Policy/Activities
Vi. Motion was made by Russ Bratcher and seconded by Bob Outman to have
a special work session on June 14 at 7:00 p.m. Motion passed 3 - 0
VII. Motion to adjourn by Russ Bratcher; seconded by Bob Outman.
Motion passed 3 - 0. Adjourned at 10:20 p.m.
