Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present
With a quorum of the members present, the regular meeting of the Allen Parks and
Recreation Board was called to order by Chair McIntosh at 7:00 pm on Monday, January
10, 2011 in the Community Room of the Allen Municipal Court and Parks and
Recreation Administration Building at 301 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas.
Action Items
1. Approve Minutes from September 13, 2010 Regular Meeting
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board member Jones and a second by Board member
Airhan, the PARB voted four (4) for and none (0) opposed to accept the
Minutes from the September 13, 2010 Regular Meeting with corrections.
The motion carried.
2. Approve 2011.2021 Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan for
recommendation to Allen City Council.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board member Airhan and a second by Board
member Jones, the PARB voted four (4) for and none (0) opposed
to recommend the 2010-2021 Parks, Recreation and Open Space
Master Plan for recommendation to City Council. The motion
carried.
Discussion Items
3. Select members to serve on ad-hoc committee for facility fee review -
Members Davidson and Airhart were selected to serve on the ad-hoc committee
4. Items of Interest
a. Discuss Items for Future Agendas
b. Next meeting Monday, May 9, 2011
6. Adjourn
