- james hawser request for exception to r-16 zoning for property at 505 mcdermott to
include a preschool. hearing property owners within the area. mr. burnside appeared to
speak against the exception citing noise, no. of childern, etc. mr.s hawser answered
questions concerning plans for use, noise, density of children, operating hours, traffic
problems, etc. motion by seaman seconded by smith to approve the zoning exception
for setting up a preschool at 505 mcdermott. motion approved. recommendation to be
sent to city council
- gary smith request for zoning change at property at 105 ash from lf to gi bz (automotive
repair) gary smith outlined his proposal for new building to commission and others
present. ... has not given lease for parking. several property owners in area present to
speak
as residentail owners. first baptist church represented ... remind commission to keep
general area in mind. motion by seaman seconded by smith to deny the request for zoning
change. motion carried. recommendation of commissions action to be sent to city council.
