I. the commission held a public hearing on a zoning chage request by fox & jacobs on
128 acres of the wm. perrin survey abstract #708. walter damon of fox & jacobs and
representing hank dickerson owner of the property, requestd zoning be changed from
lr-pd and agricultural classifications to r6 pd and lr pd
ward paxton spoke against the zoning change request citing the impact the development
would
have on the community & school district. mr. paxton stated this type of housing would not
finance its share of the schools in regard to taxes
motion zoning change request be denied, bill colander; second richard chumbley; all in
favor
II. the commission reviewed the preliminary plat for the proposed breangate sub-division
on 88.14 acres of the wm perrin survey, abstract #708
motion consideration of the plat be tabled, joe perks; second, richard chumbley; all in favor
III. the commission held a public hearing on a zoning change request by hal mayfield on
land in the mcbain-jameson survey from r-2 to lr-pd and r-4 on 74 lots and r-5 on 79 lots
hal mayfield presented drawing and spoke in favor of this request
motion request be denied, bill colander; second, joe perks; all in favor
