I. public hearing on zoning request of hal mayfield & oliver daniel regarding zoning change
on 158 acre tract area in the mcbain-jamison survey and the rl ingram survey from r2 class.
to lr r5 pd & r6 pd.
hal mayfield representing hal mayfield & assoc. appeared before the commission stating
his reasons for the zoning change to be made. roger powell suggested a pd attached to
the property at this time & leave the property as presently zoned. mr. mayfield expressed
his need for a total zoning change on this property. the commission
expressed their concern regarding a saturation of this type of housing in allen.
no one appeared before commission in opposition to mr. mayfield's presentation. motion
made by joe persk to deny zoning change request on previous stated property. hal
mayfield. second by sam lautherback. all in favor. public hearing closed
II. robert burkhart & bill perry of bill perry & assoc. appeared before commission for
approval of preliminary plat for cottonwood park addition
bill colander made motion to approve preliminary plat as submitted. second by jeannie
nance. all in favor
roger powell made motion meeting be adjourned. second by richard chumbley. all in
favor
