meeting called to order minutes read and approved
- 1st a hearing on application from mr. h.l. cain to change zoning on tract of land from
local retail to outdoor commercial - specific use for car wash
mrs. alvin herbed spoke in opposition based on the opinion that it would be an eye sore
to surrounding property
joe perks made a motion that we grant this application as a specific exception and that
we recommedn to the city council that a fence be erected on two sides of the property
chumbley seconded and motion carried 4-0
next a hearing on the application from first baptist church to change zoning on the property
located at 207 e belmont & 201 south cedar from r16 to cf zoning
roger powell presented a chart presentatoin and explained the future building plans
and parking scheme in order to comply with theis off street parking ... which ... off street
parking on site school parking ...
joe pe.. made a motion that we grant this application and recommed to the city council
... pat michaels seconded and motion carried 4-0
richard chumbley made motion to adjourn seconded by joe perks and caried
meeting adjourned
