#1 the commission held a public hearing on a zoning change request by hank dickerson
& bill dovall (hank dickerson & co.) on 128 acres - wm perrin survey, abstract #708
those speaking in favor: hank dickerson, owner; bill dovall, adjacent hank dickerson;
phil pringle, adjacent property owner; pete ford, realtor - none in opposition
the commission apporved the plans as submitted with the addition of pd to all classifications
motion joe perks, second derwin mayberry; all in favor
#2 the commission held a public hearing on a zoning change requested by th cundiff, sr.
owner, on lot 2a - block 13 - whisenant addition
from r-16 to lr for a day care center
those speaking in favor: mr. & mrs.cundiff, none in opposition
as agreed the request was changed to a variance (special exception) under r16 for a
day care center. motion made by joe perks; second richard chumbley; all in favor
#3 the commission received a letter of resignation from john pat michaels. the be submitted
to the city council thursday night for a replacement to the p&z commission
#4 motion to establish a parks & recreation standing committee to work with samuel wyse
& associates in regards to our land use plan, open space in reference to the growth and
development of our city. to apply for matching funds for land & water conservation fund
for america; acqusition of new sites and development for improving existing & new
facilities. motion joe perks, second derwin mayberry;
#5 samuel wyse & associates submitted an updated review regarding the comprehensive
plan including; population growth, development patterns & topographic map
