TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF ALLEN, ALLEN TEXAS
Minutes read and approved
Members present was as follows; Mayor V.B. Watson, Alderman J.C.
Hefner, E.B. Young, R.L. Cooksey, W.E. Ford and R.J. McClure.
Motion by E.B. Young for the City to check on buying app. 875 yds. of
rock for the streets, providing the cost does not exceed $1.67 per yard,
( $1.17 for rock and crushing and $0.50 for loading, total of $1.67 ).
second by R.L. Cooksey, Ayes (5) five / noes (0) none.
Motion by R.L. Cooksey, that the men who have made request for their
names to be placed on the official ballot for the office of Mayor and
Alderman be accepted, and their names be printed on the ballots.
Ballots to be printed by the McKinney—Examiner office. Motion second by
W.E. Ford, ayes (5) five / Noes (0) none.
