The new Council Members were sworn in by the Secretary,
Members present were as follows; Mayor V.B. Watson, Alderman W.E. Ford,
E.B. Young, R.L. Cooksey, Carl Marion and Jack Hedgcoxe.
Motion by Earl Young to appoint J.C. Hefner to take the place of Carl Marion
on the ZONING COMMITTEE, Second by W.E. Ford, Ayes (5) five/noes —none,
W.E. Ford elected Mayor Pro Tem by a unanimous vote of the Council.
Motion by Carl Marion to buy approximately 1000 yards of STREET MATERIAL
sec by Jack Hedgcoxe. Ayes (5) five / noes (0) none.
