Members present; Mayor V.B. Watson, Aldermen W.E. Ford, E.B.
Young, Carl Marion and Jack Hedgcoxe. Absent R.L. Cooksey.
Mr. Neel, manager of the Lone Star Gas Co. McKinney Texas
was in the meeting with an Ordinance fixing and determining
the general service rate to be charged for sales of natural
gas and gas service to residential and commercial consumers
within the City limits of Allen, Collin County, Texas, providing
for the manner in which such rate may be changed, adjusted
and amended and declaring an emergency.
Due to the emergency, the Ordinance was read and approved
by the Town Council this the 28 day of April A.D., 1960 by
a vote of (4) four for and none Against. With one member
absent (Mr. R.L. Cooksey).

Mr. G.W. Hamilton and Mrs. Mary Meyers was present to discuss
the street repair on their street. It was decided to draw up
a contract of what each property owner was supposed to pay on
the street, and get each of the property owners along the
street to be fixed sign the contract.
Motion by Carl Marion to buy (2) two lights for the City
Hall, and also fix or repair the tables in the City Hall.
Motion sec by W.E. Ford ayes (4) four / noes (0) none.
Motion by Mr. Young sec. by W.E. Ford to adjourn.
