Regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Allen.
Regular meeting of the EQUALIZATION BOARD for the Town of
Allen, Allen, Texas.
Members present as follows: Mayor V.B. Watson, Alderman
W.E. Ford, Jack Hedgcoxe and Carl Marion. Members absent
E.B. Young and R.L. Cooksey.
V.B. Harrington was present in regard to the tax valuation
on his property. The board lowered his rendition from $4,500.00
to $4,000.00.
T.H. Cundiff's rendition on his new house was set at
$5,320.00 for 1961, with 50% off for 1960 or $2,260.00.
Phil Pringle's property was changed from $5,000.00 to
$4,330.00 which was 1/3 of the actual value.
W.E. Ford raised his rendition valuation from $3,500.00
to $3,800.00.
Carl Marion raised his rendition valuation from $3,500.00
to $3,800.00
The following tax payers were listed to be contacted or
notified in regard to the rendition valuation on their
property for the year 1960.

Mrs. J.S. Rose
Mrs. Alta Rawlins rendition valuation was lowered from
$1,870.00 to $1,500.00.
G.W. Porter Jr. rendition valuation was lowered from
$1,870.00 to $1,500.00.
