Members present:
Mayor V.B. Watson, Alderman W.E. Ford, Jack Hedgcoxe,
E.B. Young and Carl Marion. Absent R.L. Cooksey.
City attorney Paul Warden was present in regard to the ZONING
ORDINANCE for the Town of Allen. The ORDINANCE was read and due
to and providing for an EMERGENCY, the motion was made by W.E.
Ford that the ZONING ORDINANCE be passed effective this the
14 day of July A.D. 1960. Motion sec. by E.B. Young, Ayes (4)
four / noes (0) none.
Mr. Alton Boyd and H.E. Hefner were in for a discussion about
WATER and SEWER for the New School. This was tabled for a special
meeting for Friday July 22nd 1960. This meeting to consist of
the Allen School Board and the Allen Town Council.
E.L. Ereckson presented his application for the office of City
Marshall for the Town of Allen. There was discussion on the
subject but no action taken.
