Call to Order and Announce a Ouorum Present
With members Michael Schaeffer, Jeff Burkhardt, Tim Litinas, and Baine Brooks in attendance, the
Special Called Meeting of the Allen Economic Development Corporation {AFDC} Board of Directors
was called to order by President Schaeffer at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at the Allen
Economic Development Corporation.
1. Convene into Closed Executive Session: Pursuant to Texas Government Code, Section 551.08_7:
Deliberation of Economic Development Negotiations, To Deliberate Commercial and Financial
Information and Economic Incentives for the Following:
a. Discuss Purchase of 5.340f Acres Out of the John W. Roberts Survey, Abst. No. 762, City of
Allen, Collin County, Texas.
The Board convened into closed session at 7:31 a.m.
Reconvene into Open Session
The Board reconvened into open session at 7:39 a.m.
2. Actions Resulting from Executive Session
On a motion by Tim Litinas, seconded by Jeff Burkhardt, the Board unanimously approved
authorizing the Executive Director/CEO to execute the agreement presented to the Board today
relating to the purchase of approximately 5.340 acres generally located at the southeast corner of the
intersection of W. Stacy Road and the Sam Rayburn Tollway and to sign such other documents as may
be necessary to close on the purchase of said property. Further, except for amendments increasing the
purchase price, the Executive Director/CEO is further authorized to negotiate and execute amendments
to said agreement as he deems reasonable and necessary.
3. Adjournment
On a motion by Jeff Burkhardt, seconded by Tim Litinas, the meeting was adjourned at 7:40 a.m.
