Purpose of meeting was to accept or reject Mr. Hartley's
bid on the hard-topping of the streets.
Motion by W.E. Ford that the Council lets Mr. Hartley sheet
the streets ONE SHOT at $0.30 per square yard as the said Mr. Hartley
had agreed to do. Motion sec. by Jack Hedgcoxe. Ayes (5) five --
noes (0) none.
Discussion on the SEWER TO THE SCHOOL.
Bid proposals had been posted by Mayor Watson.
Motion by Carl Marion accept the proposals posted by Mayor
Watson, Sec. by E.B. Young. Ayes (5) five noes (0) none.
Bids to be opened October 10 / 2:00 p.m. A.D. 1960 at the
City Hall in the Town of Allen, Allen, Texas
Mayor V.B. Watson and all Five Councilmen were present in
this meeting.
