With a quorum of the Commissioners present, the Allen Planning & Zoning Commission was
called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chairman Fulk at the Allen Library, Two Allen Civic Plaza,
Allen, Texas.

Review
of Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance (Agenda Item ID
Chairman Fulk read the agenda item into the record as follows -
"Review of Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance "
The following changes were suggested for the Schedule of Uses.
1
Exterminator - Allow by right in SC and LR, add definition that when located in SC District,
trucks shall be limited to a specified number, and mixing of chemicals on site prohibited.
2.
Fabrics or Needlework - Allow as Accesory in IT and HI.
3
Fairgrounds or Rodeo - Add as Temporary in SC, CC, IT, LI, GI, HI.
4.
Farm Implement Sales and Service - Allow by right in CC and by SUP in CBD
5.
Farms, Nurseries, and Truck Gardens - Change Name to "Farms and Nurseries "

Fitness Center - Change Name to "Fitness and Health Center." Allow as Accessory in MH.
7
Florist (No Outside) - Allow as Accessory in CF
8.
Food Processing (Heavy) - Allow by SUP in CC and do not allow in IT
9
Food Processing (Light) - Review definition to establish requirement "for distribution, remove
catering."

Food Stores G 5000 sq ft -Remove this use.

Food Stores > 5000 sq ft - Remove > 5000 sq ft. And rename "Food Stores " Add by right
to LR.

Fraternal Organintion, lodge, civic clubs - Allow by right in GO, O, LR, SC, LC, GC, CC,
IT, LI, GI, HI, PD, CF and CBD.

Fraternity or Sorority - Rename to "Fraternity or Sorority House."

Funeral Home and Mortuaries - Allow by right in CC

Fur Good Manufacturing - Remove this use as it is included in "Manufacturing."

Obermeyer, the Commission voted 5 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to adjourn the
August 17, 1995, meeting at 9 10 p.m.
