Present Mayor V.B. Watson, Alderman E.B. Young, W.E. Ford,
R.L Cooksey and Jack Hedgcoxe. Absent Carl Marion.
Purpose of meeting: To pass on a permit to be obtained from
the State Highway Department for the purpose of crossing State
Highway No 5 and Farm Road No 2170 with the SEWER LINE coming
from the Allen SCHOOL.
RESOLUTION was read. Motion by E.B. Young that said resolution
be passed. Second by Jack Hedgcoxe. Ayes (4) noes (0) none.
RESOLUTION ATTACHED
Motion by W.E. Ford to pay Mr. J.D. Fowler the 12% he has
Requested for laying the SEWER LINE. Second by Jack Hedgcoxe
Ayes (4) four / Noes (0) none.
Motion by W.E. Ford for the COUNCIL to hold its REGULAR
MEETINGS on the (2nd) SECOND & (4) FOURTH WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
instead of Thursday nights for the remainder of the Football
season. Ayes (4) four / Noes (0) none.

RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS
In called session of the City Council of the City of Allen, Texas
on October <j , 1960, the following resolution was read and passed.
WHEREAS, the new High School Building in Allen, Texas,
situated on the east side of State Highway No. 5 and on the north
side of Farm Road No. „/70 is now complete except for Sanitary
Sewage facilities; and
WHEREAS, engineering services in the planning and
installation of such facilities are both desirable and necessary; and
WHEREAS, it is to the best interests of all concerned to use
the R.O.W. of State Highway No. 5 and Farm Road No.2/7o and
realizing that it is necessary to obtain a permit from the State Highway
Department;/

NOW, THEREFORE, the Council in special session on the .S-6(
day of October, 1960, authorizes Jas. D. Fowler of Koch & Fowler
• and Grafe, Inc. , to act for and in its behalf in securing the necessary
permit from the State Highway Department.
