Minutes read and approved:
Members present were as follows: Mayor V.B. Watson Aldermen
W.E. Ford, E.B. Young and Jack Hedgcoxe. Absent Carl Marion and
R.L. Cooksey.
Correspondence: Letter from the City Attorney in regard to the
annexing the property (HY 5) from the State, from the SE boundary
of the Allenwood Estates, north, to HY 2170 was advised to pass the
annexation as of now.
Motion by E.B. Young that John Enlee haul gravel and cover the
ROAD from the WELL PROPERTY connecting with West First Street.
Also necessary repair on the corner by Edwin L. Ereckson and to
the Colored School. Second by Jack Hedgcoxe. Ayes (3) three noes
(0) none.
Question about SEWER to Bemon Marrow Home.
Motion by E.B. Young that SEWER LINE shall be extended from present
location to intersection of north Street alley from WaterWorks,
providing J.L. Dement pays in advance for (5) Five SEWER TAPS @ $75.00
per tap. The line shall be 6" in dimension with one MAN HOLE at the
turn going to the WELL. Motion second by Jack Hedgcoxe. Ayes (3) three
Noes none (0).
Motion by E.B. Young ANY SEWER LINE UNLESS PAID FOR, OR $2.00
PER MONTH HAS BEEN PAID ON LINE TILL PRESENT TIME. (TIME OF
CONNECTION). THEN A TAPPING FEE OF $75.00 MUST BE PAID BEFORE TAPPING.
Motion second by Jack Hedgcoxe. Ayes (3) Three, noes (0) none.
