SPECIAL MEETING

THE TW ON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF ALLEN, ALLEN, TEXAS
MARCH 17, I961
Mayor V.B. Watson, Aldermen W.E. Ford, R.L. Cooksey, Jack Hedgcoxe and
Carl Marion was present for the meeting.
Mr Johnson was present to slaaw his PLOT for the TRAILOR COURT and dis-
cuss the Zoning of his property "G" LOCAL BLSINESS DISTRICT as shown in
I960 70NING ORDINANCE of the Town of Allen. The Council advised Mr.
Johnson as to the proper STEPS to be taken and that he would meet with the
ZONING COMMISSION at the earlest possiable date.
Mayor Watson , read a letter from MR. E.B. Young offering his RESIGNATION
FROM THE TOWN COUNCIL and that his name be struck from the ballot of the
ELECTION too be held on the (4) Fourth day of April A.D. 196I.
Motion by Carl Marion that the Council except Mr. E.B. Young's resignation,
motion was secon9 by Jack Hedgcoxe. Ayes (4) Four-- - Noen (0) none.
Mr. R.L. Cooksey presented his PLOT & Specefications for the first
section of the DON CAROL addition to the Town of Allen, The discussion'A
was about netting the water to said addition, the council wants to know
what Mr. Cooksey & Mr. Young propose too doin regard to getting water,
also,about handling the excess water that comes in -to the above mentond
addition from across old High -way # 6 on the east side of this new Add.
