REGULAR COUNCIL IN SESSION. Minutes read ami approved: Members present was as follows; Hon. Mayor V.3. Watson, Aldermen J,C. fiefner, Carl Marion, Phil Pringle and Jack Hedgcoxe. Members absent C.E. Ottoway. Discussion, about selling of more BOND'S, should we go ahead now sellmore BOND's and DRILL A WELL at this time & act. Motion was made by Carl Marion that we get a ENGINEER to check on the drilling of a WELL. Motion was second by Jack Hedgcoxe. Ayes (4) four noes (0) none. Discussion on the TELEPHONE ORDINANCE , was it covered by the ORIGNAL ORDINANCE passed by the City Council in regard to Street Franchise ? Motion by Carl Marion to buy A lawn -mower for the Town of Allen. The Council thought a 2I" ( twenty-one inch) would be the best size to buy, and pay up -to "50.00 (fifty dollars)or their about, with a Briggs*Stratton motor. Motion was sec. by J.C. Hefner. Ayes (4) Four-- Noes (0) none. -Discussion : About the SEWER LINE from the Whis. Estates when their is some more Street's laid off. " About the fixing the Street interanceoff of High -way 2170 in -to Stubbs Property. Motion was made by Carl Marion to buy the Rock & Gravel to fix the interance to the Stubbs Property and also some other placies that needs fixing, and STOCK PILE some GRAVEL for future use. This motion was second by Jack Hedgcoxe. Ayes (4) Pour -- Noes (0) none. Motion by Jack Hedgcoxe to buy a load of PLANT -MIX. Motion sec. by Phil Pringle. Ayes (4) Four. ---- Noes (0) None. Motion by Carl Marion that the City Council APPOINT Mr. Harold Blazer on the ZONING COMMISSION to replace Mr. J.C. Hefner who was elected to Council in the April 4th election.
