I. CALL TO ORDER
Chair, Evelyn Dawson called the meeting to order at 8 27 p.m.
H. APPROVE THE MINUTES FROM JANUARY 4, 2000 REGULAR
CALLED MEETING
MOTION: Shannon Kelly moved to accept the Minutes from January
4, 2000 Regular Called Meeting as presented. Tess
McKeown seconded, and the Motion carried 5 for, 0
against.

III. CITIZENS COMMENTS
There were no citizens present wishing to speak to the Board at this
time.
IV. CONSIDER 4b FUNDING ISSUES
The following issues were presented as possibilities for presentation to
the 4-b Board for consideration:
Mural and/or Landscaping of Amphitheater
Amanda Dunbar Art Project
Funding for Auditorium Finish Out
City Hall Art Project Additional Funding
Permanent Sound System for Amphitheater
V. UPDATE ON AMANDA DUNBAR PROPOSAL, ART FEST 2000,
AND SUNDAY SOUNDS CONCERT SERIES
Don Horton indicated he would be drafting a letter for he and Evelyn
Dawson to forward to the family of Amanda Dunbar requesting an
appointment
Allen Art Fest 2000 will have a focus on children with an art table,
Eddie Coker and Trout Fishing in America. This event will be held on
May 29, 2000 at 6 p.m. in the Bethany Lakes Amphitheater
The remaining Sunday Concert Series are as follows:
February 13, 2000 - Twice as Far, Folk Duo
March 19, 2000 - Randy Erwin, Singing Cowboy
Shannon Kelly indicated she would act as hostess for the March concert.
Don Horton indicated that the performers for the Summer Concert Series
are being scheduled as follows:
June 5 Kenny and the Kasuals (People's Choice from
1999)
June 12 Candance Brooks
June 19 To Be Announced
June 26 Daddy's Chair - ajazz band

It was announced that the Annual Allen Chamber of Commerce Banquet
is scheduled for February 5, 2000 and should any of the Board members
wish to attend, they should contact either the Parks and Recreation
Department offices, or Evelyn Dawson.
VII. ADJOURN
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
