Vice -Chair Jennifer Kiser called the meeting to order at 6:09 p.m.
2. INTRODUCTION OF NEW BOARD MEMBER
David Sterling was welcomed by the board.
3. CITIZEN COMMENTS
None
4. APPROVE MINUTES FROM JANUARY 2003 REGULAR CALLED
MEETING
MOTION: Lauren Jones made a motion to accept the mmutes.Lynn Moore seconded the
motion. The motioned passed 6-0
5. ELECTION OF CHAIRPERSON
MOTION: Susan Butler nominated Lynn Moore for Chair. Sandi Acheson seconded
the nomination The motion carried 5-0 with one member (Lynn Moore) not
voting.
6. DISCUSS TIMELINE FOR ALLEN USA.
Tina Damels discussed the art tent for Allen USA. A workshop was suggested to design the
cm@s A workshop will be planned at a later date
7. DISCUSS AND APPROVE SUMMER SOUND DATES
E The board decided to hold the Summer Sounds concerts May 26, June 2, 9, 16, 23, 2003 at Joe
Farmer Recreation Center.

8. BUDGET UPDATE
Staff gave the board a budget update. There has been minimum spending so far this fiscal year
because most of the board's events are upcoming.
9. OTHER BUSINESS- REVIEW BOARD MEMBER SELECTION PROCESS
Each board member was asked to review the selection process and ask questions as needed.
10. ADJOURN
The meeting was adjourned at 7.44 p.m.
