4. AMEND BYLAWS TO BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS
TERM LIMITS
City Council recommends a revision to all city wide boards. The
recommendation states that a board member can serve unlimited terms but must
re -interview if the board member would like to remain on the board.
MOTION: Lauren Jones made a motion to accept
the recommendations as requested by City
Council. Jennifer Kiser seconded this motion.
The motion carried 7-0.
5. CONSIDER GRANDTING FUNDS FOR THE HERITAGE
CENTER EXHIBIT
MOTION: Sandi Acheson made a motion that the
Allen Arts Alliance sponsor an art exhibit for the
new heritage center. Patrice Alessandra seconded
motion. The motion carried 7-0.
6. CONSIDER ARTS ALLIANCE LOGO
MOTION: Jennifer Kiser made a motion to
accept a new logo. Susan Butler seconded the
motion. The motion carried 6 for 0 against
and 1 not voting.
7. CONSIDER DATES FOR COMMITTEE MEETINGS
A date was not decided upon.
8. BUDGET UPDATE
There was not a change in the budget from last month.
9. SUMMER SOUNDS AND ALLEN USA UPDATE
Summer Sounds are May 26, June 2, June 9 June 16, June 23
and Allen USA is June 28.
10. ADJOURN
