MOTION: David Sterling moved to approve the Minutes from April 6, 2004
regular Meeting with changes. Patrice Alessandra seconded and the Motion
carried 5 in favor, 0 against.

Allen Arts Alliance Board Meeting
5. ITEMS FOR INFORMATION:
A. Arts Master Plan:
Shannon Craft presented an update to the board.
B. Budget Update:
Shannon presented the latest budget for the board.
C. Summer Sounds:
Giveaways are being researched to accommodate the themes for the Summer
Sounds Concert Series. Shannon will also order denim shirts for the board to
wear to Summer Sounds and other events.
D. Other:
Banner Stands:
David presented the concept and design for the banner stands to
be used at the concerts and other events.
Art to Go:
The mail out to schools has generated a lot of interest and Trudy is
considering cutting the pilot program year to 3-4 schools maximum.
New Library:
Sue Butler informed the board that the library would like to formally
ask the Arts Alliance for help in funding the purchase of 12 seats
i for the disabled in the new auditorium. Lori Smeby will check on
the viability of the Arts Alliance being able to fund that.
