Lynn Moore, Chair, called the Regular Allen Arts Alliance Board Meeting to Order
at 6:05 p.m.
2. APPROVE MINUTES FROM February 1, 2005 REGULAR MEETING
MOTION: Rod Schwegmann moved to approve the Minutes from the February 1,
2005 regular Meeting. Denise Gilbert seconded and the Motion carried 6 in favor,

Allen Arts Alliance Board Meeting
5, ITEMS FOR INFORMATION:
a. Tom Keener—Robert Sabuda Programs at Library
Sabuda is an illustrator for children's books and is coming to the library the
first week of July Would like to have the Arts Alliance help get the word out
about the program.
b. Joe Gorfida, By-laws and articles of incorporation
Mr. Gorfida presented the by-laws for the new Allen Arts Alliance. The board
discussed and made necessary changes to various sections and articles. The
board reviewed the articles of incorporation and made necessary additions and
changes. Mr Gorfida will make the recommended changes and submit the
completed document to Lori Smeby
c. Reengineering of Allen Arts Alliance
Lori Smeby started the discussion about the reengineering. Identifying
possible applicants was touched on briefly The months of May and June will be
heavy recruitment months. July the board will review and vote on applicants.
Late July or early August Council will vote on separating the Allen Arts Alliance
from being a Council appointed board.
d. Art to Go Update
Lynn Moore updated the board about the success of the program. Also noted
that recruitment efforts for the next school year is underway.
e. Bach to Books Update
Nothing to report.
f. Missoula Children's Theater
Nothing to report.
g. Other:
Kathy Litinas will donate 2 tickets to each board member for an upcoming
Allen Symphony Orchestra concert.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
