CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM IS PRESENT Susan Butler, Vice -Chair, called the Regular Allen Arts Alliance Board Meeting to Order at 6:05 p.m. 2. APPROVE MINUTES FROM April 5, 2005 REGULAR MEETING MOTION: Denise Gilbert moved to approve the Minutes from the April 5, 2005 regular Meeting. Patrice Alessandra seconded and the Motion carried 5 in favor, 0 against. 3. CITIZENS COMMENTS: None 4. ITEMS FOR INFORMATION: a. Allen Community Theater, Diane Balogh Ms. Balogh and Ms. Boughton presented the program plan for the Allen Community Theater. The first production, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, will be in June. Summer Sounds Update Ms. Craft presented the Summer Sounds Lineup, she will email the line up along with a sign-up sheet for two of the Board members to be present at each concert. c. Other Kathy Litinas discussed the "Celebrate The Arts Party' where a Jazz Trio will perform and asked for the Board to "spread" the word. The "Party" will be held on June 2 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. S. ITEMS FOR ACTION: a. Art To Go School Year 2005-2006 Budget, Trudy Israel Ms. Israel provided an update on the Art To Go year. She also submitted a mid -year budget adjustment of $2,859.80. Motion: Patrice Allesandra moved to approve the extension of Art To Go funds in the amount of $2,859.80. Sandy Acheson seconded and the Motion carried 5 in favor. b. Identify possible applicants for new Board. Item tabled until June meeting. c. Application Process for New Board Members Forms were distributed for "Board Candidate Profile." They will be e- mailed for recruitment purposes by the members of the Board. Several updates were done to the application itself to improve it and make it more accessible to possible applicants. d. Interview process for New Board Members Item tabled until June meeting. 6.
