1. CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM IS PRESENT
Lynn Moore, Chair, called the Regular Allen Arts Alliance Board Meeting to
Order at 5.35 p.m.
2. APPROVE MINUTES FROM April 5, 2005 REGULAR MEETING
MOTION: Kathy Lifinas moved to approve the Minutes from the May 3, 2005
regular Meeting. Rod Schwegmann seconded and the Motion carried 5 in
favor, 0 against.
3. CITIZENS COMMENTS:
None
4. ITEMS FOR INFORMATION:
a. Summer Sounds Update
Shannon Craft updated the Board on the attendance of the first three Summer
E Sounds Concerts. May 23 had about 800 people, May 30 had about 900 -
,000 people and June 6 had about 1,200 people attend.

a. Establish list of Arts Organizations to Invite to New Board
MOTION: Susan Butler moved to approve the following list of Arts
Organizations and Artists for mailing the New Board Member Application.
Kathy Litinas seconded and the Motion carried all in favor, 0 against. (The
board member responsible for acquiring the contact info is beside the name.)

b. Establish Nomination Sub -Committee
MOTION: Sandi Acheson moved to approve Rod Schwegmann, Kathy
Litinas & Denise Gilbert to serve as the Nomination Sub -committee, Susan
Butler seconded and the Motion carried all in favor, 0 against.
c. Meeting Dates
MOTION: Rod Schwegmann moved to approve the First Tuesday of
every month as the meeting date for the new board. Susan Butler
seconded and the Motion carried all in favor, 0 against
d. Interview process for New Board Members
MOTION: Kathy Litinas moved to approve that the applications would
be reviewed by the Nomination Committee and then narrowed down to
a few specific candidates. Those candidates would be discussed at a
meeting and then interviews would be set. All Board members would take
turns interviewing people in teams. No one seconded the motion;
therefore; it will be carried over to the next meeting.
6. ADJOURN
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 6:52 p.m.
