Meeting called to order by Mayor Gentry T. Jones, with the
following members present : J.C. Hefner, Phil Pringle, Dean Sears,
Talmadge Oxford and C.E. Ottoway.
Minutes of December 26th 1962 read and approved.
Bills presented to the Council, Mr. Sears moved that the bill's
be paid, sec. by Mr. Oxford. Motion passed, ayes (5) Five/noes none.
Alex Orr our city Attorney and Mr. Walter F. Hicks Jr. was also
present.
A Contract was presented by Mr. Hicks of Wisenbaker, Fix and
Associates for discussion with the Council.
The RESOLUTION was introduced by Mr. Phil Pringle and sec. by
F. Dean Sears, with all Council members present, and their being
no voting NO, it was delared by the Mayor that said resolution
had been duly carried, and the Mayors signature affixed their -to.
Motion by Mr. Pringle, authorizing the Mayor X15 0 $0.00 to build
a filing cabinet for Maps & fiat., sec. by Cy Hefner. Motion
passed, ayes (5) Five / noes (0) none.
Mr. O.E. Lynge & Mr Stevens (engineer) presented a plat of the
O.E. Lynge addition showing lot sizes, Streets and Sewer lay -out
at this time.
Motion by Phil Pringle that the plat be approved as to lay -out
shown, and that the lay -nut of the Sewer -Line from North 3rd is
here -by approved for construction. motion sec, by Talmadge Oxford.
Motion passed ayes (5) Five / noes (0) none.
Mr. Stevens was instructed to provide specification's for
STREET's and UTILITIES before complete approval.
Discussion : about Signs for the Main Intersebion's of the City.
If the project is resonable the Council will go along.
Discussion : about the type of Streets to be put -in in the
Now Devlopments
