Town Council of the Town of Allen, Allen, Texas.
Meeting called to order by Mayor Gentry T. Jones, with the
following Council members present : Phil Pringle,J.C. Hefner,
Talmadge Oxford, F. Dean Sears and C.E. Ottaway. Absent none.
Discussion; about the Fire Department, with reference too
a full time Police that would also work with the Fire Delartment,
to stimulate and encourage the activity of the Fire Department.
Mr. O.E. Lynge and Mr Stephens summited the plat on the O.E.
Lynge addition in regard to the Sewer & Water lines, also Streets
to have (6) six inchs of crused rock and (2) two inchs of Asphalt.
The Council also requested that the Street foundation be rolled
with a Sheep -foot rolLeler.
Motion by Phil ;gingle that the PLOT shown by Mr. Stephens of the
O.E. Lynge Addition accepted by the Town of Allen, and be signed by
the Mayor. Sec, by C.E. Ottaway. Motion passed Ayes (5) Five/noes-none.
The Council discussed with Mr. Hicks the future plans for a
Sewer System for the Town of Allen
Mayor Jones moved that we adjorn
