Meeting called to order by Mayor Gentry T. Jones, with the
£ollowinE Council members present,T.L. Oxford, Phil Pringle,
Dean Sears, C.E. Ottaway and J.D. Smith.
Minutes read and approved :
Bills for the month of June were passed around.
Mr. f Wisenbaker, Fix, and Associates gave a report for
improvementt to the Sewerage system for the City of Allen.
Mr. J.D. Buckhanan Jr., Representative of Investment Securities
discussed with the Cauncil the possibility on sale of Revenue Bonds
and General Obligation Bonds under the present set-up (with -out any
increase in Taxes or Water Rates) at this time.
Motion was made by Phil Pringle that we call a BOND ELECTION
for future Sewer and Water devlopment for the City of Allen, in
the amount of $ 500,000.00, with the following break -down
Sewer needs y) 2900.
Future Water Imp.1 0,000.
" Sewer " 75,000.
Street " 50,000.
motion was second by C.E. Ottaway and passed with the votes as follows
Ayes : Phil Pringle, C.E. Ottaway, T.L. Oxford, Dean Sears and J.D. Smith.
July the lith 1963 was date set for calling Bond Election.
Trailer Ordinance for the City of Allen as amended was read by
Mayor Jones, and, motion was made by C.E. Ottaway that we adopt the
Trailer Ordinance for the City of Allen, second by Dean Sears
passed ; Ayes )(5) Five / noes (0) none.
