CALL TO ORDER:
The Allen Sign Control Board was called to order at 7:35 p.m. by Chairman
Chrisman at the Allen Municipal Annex, City Council Chambers, One Butler Circle,
Allen, Texas.
Approve Minutes
December 12, 1989 (Agenda Item II)
Chairman Chrisman read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Approve minutes of December 12, 1989, Regular meeting."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Crowe and a second by Board Member
Leverett, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the
minutes of December 12, 1989, as presented.

Bethany Plaza Shopping Center (Agenda Item III)
Chairman Chrisman read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider 3rd Renewal of Class 4 Temporary Promotional sign at Bethany
Plaza Shopping Center."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Leverett and a second by Board
Member Crowe, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to remove
agenda item III from the table.
MOTION: A motion was made by Board Member Leverett and a seconded by
Board Member Hall to approve the renewal for Bethany Plaza Shopping
Center.
Board Member Hall expressed a concern on the condition of the sign but Board
Member Leverett indicated that the sign appeared to be within the limitations set
for renewal.
Mr. Del Ferro advised the Board that the sign was within acceptable limits.
Motion carried by a vote of 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the
3rd renewal of Class 4 Temporary Promotional sign at Bethany Plaza
Shopping Center.
Consider Renewal
Bass Development
(Agenda Item IV)
Chairman Chrisman read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider 4th renewal of Class 4 Temporary Promotional sign for Bass
Development located at the southwest corner of Sycamore Creek and Roaring
Springs."
Board Member Crowe questioned whether this area was still actively developing.
Mr. Del Ferro advised the Board that this area was still actively developing.
Mr. Del Ferro advised the Board that the sign was in good repair.
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Hall and a second by Board Member
Leverett, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the
renewal for Bass Development.

Consider Renewal
Goodman Homes (Agenda Item V)
Chairman Chrisman read the agenda item into the record as follows:
Consider 2nd renewal of Class 4 Temporary Promotional sign for Goodman
Homes located on the northeast corner of Fountain Gate and Main."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Hall and a second by Board Member
Leverett, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the
renewal for Goodman Homes.
Other Business
Mr. Del Ferro advised the Board of the Class 4 sign permits issued during the
past month.
Mr. Del Ferro advised the Board that the Class 4 sign located at the Bethany Tech
Center on Bethany Drive is in need of repair. The Company has filed Chapter 11.
The Board then asked Mr. Del Ferro to follow up on this situation to be certain the
sign comes into conformance.
Adjourn
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Crowe and a second by Board Member
Leverett, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to adjourn the
January 9, 1990, meeting at 7:50 p.m.
