Members absent, F. Dean Sears and C.E. Ottaway.
Mr J.D. Buckhanan Jr.representative of WALKER, AUSTIN &
WAGGENER was present and read an ORDINANCE CALLING AN ELECTION
FOR THE CITY OF ALLEN, TO BE HELD ON THE 3rd DAY OF AUGUST, 1963.
AFTER HEARING THE READING A MOTION WAS MADE BY PHIL PRINGLE
THAT TIE SAID ORDINANCE BE ACCEPTED, SECOND BY TALMADGE L. OXFORD.
MOTION PASS:D WITH THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS PRESENT. Phil Pringle,
Talmadge L. Oxford and J.U. Smith. ( Ayes 3 / noes 0 ).
Motion By Mr. Oxford that the Hon. Mayor & City Council
inter into a FINANCING AGRnEMENT with WALKER, AUSTIN & WAGGENER
of Dallas, Texas. Second by J.D. Smith, motion passed, AYES (3)
three / noes (0) none.

Bills presented, Motion by Mr Oxford that they be paid; Sec by
Mr. Smith, motion passed --Ayes (3) three / noes (0) none.
Motion : by Mr. Oxford that the BYt:LAWS of the ALLEN FIRE DEPARTMENT
ber.accepted by the City Council with the word 'WHILE' struck out as
amended. See by Phil Pringle. Motion passed ayes (3) three / noes -none.
Motion : by J.D. Smith that the City buy 10 lbs. of " 1dE:-D KILLER"
( Telver) made by DU -PONT, second by T.L. Oxford-- motion passed
ayes (3) Three / noes (0) none.
Motion : by T.L. Oxford that Mr Smith and Mayor Jones check
for a AIR-COIQDITIO:IER for the City Hall, and report on what they
can find. Second by J.D. Smith/ motion passed -ayes (3) Three --
noes (0) None.
