CALL TO ORDER AND ANNOUNCE A QUORUM:
With a quorum of the Allen Sign Control Board present, the meeting was called to
order at 7:30 p.m. by Chairman Leverett at the Allen Municipal Annex, City
Council Chambers, One Butler Circle, Allen, Texas.
Approve Minutes
December 10, 1991 (Agenda Item II)
Chairman Leverett read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Approve minutes of December 10, 1991, Regular meeting."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Claytor and a second by Board
Member Winslow, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve
the minutes of December 10, 1991, as presented.

Renewal
Bass Development (Agenda Item III)
Chairman Leverett read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider 6th renewal for Class 4 Temporary sign for Bass Development
located at the southeast corner of Sycamore Creek Road and Roaring
Springs."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Claytor and a second by Board
Member Hall, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the
renewal for Bass Development.
Renewal
Goodman Homes Agenda Item IV)
Chairman Leverett read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider 6th renewal for Class 4 Off -Site Temporary sign for Goodman
Homes located at the northwest corner of Fountain Gate Drive and Main
Street."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Winslow and a second by Board
Member Claytor, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve
the renewal for Goodman Homes.
Renewal
Diamond Homes (Agenda Item V)
Chairman Leverett read the agenda item into the record as follows:
"Consider 1st renewal for Class 4 Off -Site Temporary sign for Diamond
Homes located at the southwest corner of Allen Heights Drive and Main
Street."
MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Claytor and a second by Board
Member Hall, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to approve the
renewal for Diamond Homes.

Other Business
Mr. Del Ferro reviewed the Class 4 signs permitted during the past month
Dr. Scott Williams appeared before the Board to discuss the upcoming election for
the half cent sales tax.
Chairman Leverett stated he would be visiting with City staff regarding the
possible workshop sessions to be scheduled in the near future.

MOTION: Upon a motion by Board Member Claytor and a second by Board
Member Hall, the Board voted 4 FOR and 0 OPPOSED to adjourn the
January 14, 1992, meeting of the Allen Sign Control Board at 8:10
p.m.
