City council City of Allen, Allen, Texas
Present : Mayor Gentry T. Jones, Aldermen Phil Pringle, J.D.
Smith, C.E. Ottaway, F. Dean Sears and T.L. Oxford. Bbaent-0.
Motion: T.L. Oxford to authorize Mayor Jones too buy a AIR-CONDITION
unite for the City -Hall, after checking one or two more places
on pricers, second by J.D. Smith-- motionpassed, Ayes (4)
four / noes (0) none. (Mr. Ottaway absent.)
Bill's were passed around :
Motion: T.L. Oxford that billts be paid -see by Mr. Smith - motion
passed - Ayes (5) five -- noes (0) none.
Motion: C.E. Ottaway that we sign the agreement with the TEXAS HI -WAY
DEPARTMENT for securing the right-of-way, with -in the Civ Limits
of the City of Allen for a Farm to Market Road. Begining at
State HI -Way # 75, west to the said City Limit line. Second by
T.L. Oxford, motion pasr;ed - Ayes (5) five / Noes (0) None.
Motion: T.L. Oxford that Mr. CHARLES E. FOWLER be approved by the City
Council to act as FIRE;:CHIEF, second by C.E. Ottaway, motion
passed - ayes (5) five / noes (0) none.

City of Allen, that people might come and discuss their tax problemts.
Mr Ralph Dickson was the only visitor.
