SPECIAL MEETING OF
THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF ALLEN, ALLEN, TEX.
AUGUST loth 1963
Present : Mayor Gentry T. Jones Aldermen C.E. Ottaway, Talmadge
L. Oxford and J.D. Smith. Absent F. Dean Sears and Phil Pringle.
Purpose of this meeting was to call a Bond Election
for the City of Allen.
Mr. J.D. Buchanan, Jr., presented the CERTIFICATE FOR
ELECTION ORDINANCE, After which Mr. C.E. Ottaway Moved that we
call this BOND Election and was second by Talmadge L. Oxford.
Motion passed ayes ( 3 1 Three // noes None.
The £ollowine Election officials were appointed

G,C. Mathews ----- Assistant Judge
Mrs G.C. Mathews ----- Clerk
Election date was set for September 7th 1963
at the City Hall, Allen, Texas
