repaving of some Streets in the Whis. Estates addition.
Mr A.W. Cox who is with the B.P. MCTNERNEY & COMPANY, Asphalt
paving contractors, had left a quotation on fixing 6,201 Sq. Yds.
of :;? 7,937.00 lump sum, or 1.28 per sq. yd.
Mr C.R. Ottaway moved that we have the Streets fixed as
drawn out in the specifications by Mr Cox, motion was second bi
Phil Pringle, with "FOUR COUNCIL members present, who's votes
were as follows : For - (2) C.r:. Ottaway and Phil Pringle
noes- (2) F. Dean Sears and Talmadge Oxford
J.D. Smith absent.
Mayor Gentry T. Jones voted in favor of said project to un-
tie the vote, which passed 3 to 2.
