Purpose of meeting was to
discuss, bidding on a Fire Truck which the City of Dallas
was selling.
Mr Charles E. Fowler our Fire Chief was present too talk with
the Council about the said Fire Truck, with reference to plac-
ine a bid, if the Council thought it the best thing to do.
PRr C.E. Ottaway moved that we turn -in a bid of $ 1,$00.99 on
the 1940 modle 'MACK TRUCK'. Second by Phil Pringle, motion
passed 3 to 0 with the following members present.
S.D. Smith, Phil Pringle and C.B. Ottaway.
F. Dean Sears and Talmadge Oxford was absent.
The Council is to get Mr Walter Hicks, our hngineer, to check
some -more on the SEWED LOCATION too determine the best location
for a future site.
