Meeting called to order by Mayor Gentry T• Jones.
Council members present as follows : C.E. Ottaway, T.L. Oxford
Phil Pringle, J.D. Smith and Dean Sears.
PIr Ottaway moved that the bills be paid, second by Mr. Oxford
motion passed Ayes (5) five / noes (0) none.
Mr Pz Mrs Cassady was present regarding a permit .for a Duplex
to be built on their property. Motion by Ns Ottaway that Mrs
Cassady bring a drawin7 of the building, along with deed show-
ing, lot Size that building is to be put on. Second by Mr Sears,
motion passed , ayes (5) Five / noes (0) none.
Mr Ecro4 was present t�g, e a report on the fall -out line
for the SEWER. Mm Herod �thi ork was -not completed at this time
due to weather conditions.
The Council request that we have Mr J.D. 3uc1aanan Jr. be pres-
ent at the next regular meetinp;.
Discussion about some help in the office.
Motion by Mr Oxford that Mrs J.D. Smith be contacted about work-
ing on a part time bases at !y 1.30 per hour. Second by Mr
Pringle, motion passed ayes (5) five / noes (0) none.
Motion by Mr Pringle that the City buys some type of a
reproducing machine, what -ever is needed most at this time,
second by ice^ Oxford, Motion passed, ayes (5) five/noes (0)
none.
Talmadge to check machines for recommendation.
