The meeting convened at 9.30 a.m. on August 9, 2006.
Aooroval of the Minutes of the JAIN 26 2006 Special Called Meeting of the Executive Director/CEO
Screening Committee
The minutes of the July 26, 2006 Special Called Meeting of the Executive Director/CEO Screening
Committee were approved on a motion by Peter Vargas, seconded by Mark Pacheco.
Convene into Closed Executive Session
The Executive Director Screening Committee convened into closed executive session at 9:30 a.m. to
conduct interviews with candidates for the position of Executive Director/CEO of the Allen Economic
Development Corporation.
Reconvene into Regular Session
The Committee reconvened into regular session at 11:00 a.m, Members then recessed from 11:00 a.m.
to 2:00 p.m.
Convene into Closed Executive Session.
The Executive Director Screening Committee convened into closed executive session at 2.00 p.m. to
conduct interviews with candidates for the position of Executive Director/CEO of the Allen Economic
Development Corporation.
Reconvene into Regular Session.
The Committee reconvened into regular session at 5:20 p.m.

Consider and take Action as Result of the Executive Session
The Executive Director Screening Committee interviewed four candidates during the day No action
was taken. The Committee will make a determination on the list of finalists following the final
candidate interview on Friday, August 11, 2006,
