Call to Order.
The meeting convened at 3:00 p.m. on August 11, 2006.
Approval of the Minutes o[Atigust 9 2006 Special Called Meeting of the Executive Director/CEQ
Screening Committee
The minutes of the August 9, 2006 Special Called Meeting of the Executive Director/CEO Screening
Committee were approved on a motion by Mark Pacheco, seconded by Peter Vargas.
Convene into Closed Executive Session
The Executive Director Screening Committee convened into closed executive session at 3:00 p.m. to
conduct interviews with candidates for the position of Executive Director/CEO of the Allen Economic
Development Corporation.
Reconvene into Regular Session.
The Committee reconvened into regular session at 5� 10 p.m.
Consider and take Action as Result of the Executive Session
The Executive Director Screening Committee interviewed one candidate during the day. They
discussed the results of all the interviews (a total of five) conducted to date. The Committee
unanimously decided to call John Jacobs, Robert Winningham and Jubal Smith as finalists to schedule
interviews with the full Selection Committee on Wednesday, August 16, 2006. The candidates will be
interviewed in the above listed order. Charisse will make the calls to the finalists and will also call the
candidates not selected to let them know the Committee's decision.
