CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF ALLEN, TEXAS
Present-Mayor Gentry T. Jones, Councilmen-Phil Pringle, C.E.
Ottaway, Dean Sears and Talmadge Oxford.
Purpose of this meeting was to select someone to replace Council-
man J. D. Smith, who resigned January 11th, 1964.
B. J. Enloe and R. B. Whisemant were mentioned.
Motion by Phil Pringle-That the council appoint B. J. Enloe as
councilman. Seconded by-Talmadge Oxford. Passed-Ayes Four(4)-
Noes None(0) .
Motion By Talmadge Oxford-To pay bills. Seconded by Phil Pringle.
Mr. Skiles was present to discuss the Master Street Plan.
Motion by C . E. Ottaway-That we except this plan as a Master
Street Plan--for the City of Allen. Seconded by Phil Pringle.
Passed-Ayes Four(4)-Noes None(0) .
