CITY COUNCIL:, CITY OF ALLFN, TEXAS
APRIL 20th. 1964
Members present as follows ; Mayor Gentry T. Jones .
Alderman: Phil Pringle, R.B. Whisenant, B.J. Enloe,
Jimmy Gantt and C.E. Ottaway,
PURPOSE OF MEETING
To talk with Mr Moulden, who is co-owner of track # 2 of the
Adams & Armstrong Survey, about the purchase of approximately
129 acres of land , a part of which the City of Allen would like
too aquire for the location of a Sewer Plant. Mr Moulden asked
the City Council $1,000.00 per acre for this property. The Council
wanted too discuss the price on the acerage that the City would
actualy need, or approximately 50 acres, however Mr Moulden said
"he would not be interested in selling a small track; and did-not
make any offer.
Mr Moulden went out-side, that the Council might discuss the
matter, after some discussion Mr Moulden was informed that their
was some members of the Council that wanted to see the property
before any decision was made, and the Council would have our City
Attorney to contact him later.
A Special meeting was called for Tuesday April 21st . 1964
