Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present
With a quorum of the Board of Directors present, the Regular Meeting of the Arts of Collin County
Commission, Inc. was called to order by President Robinson at 4:02 pm. on Wednesday, April 26, 2006, in
the Council Conference Room at Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas.
The Executive Session was not held.

General Discussion
Jack Lagos, 3120 Oxford Court, Plano, Texas, addressed the Arts of Collin County Commission
Board of Directors.
Consent Agenda
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Director Muns and a second by Secretary Barretts, the Board of
Directors voted four (4) for and none (0) opposed to approve and adopt the items on the
Consent agenda as follows.
2, Approve Minutes from March 22, 2006, Regular Meeting,
3. Approve Minutes from April 12, 2006, Design Team Workshop.
4. Receive Financial Report for the Period Ended March 31, 2006.

7. The Arts of Collin County Commission, Inc. Board of Directors viewed the Texas Attorney
General's Open Meetings Training Video (Attendance at this session satisfies the Senate Bill
286 Open Meetings Act training requirement.)
Vice President Maso left at this time — he has completed the training through the City of Frisco and
will provide the certificate for the Commission records.
A quorum remained present.
Board members who completed the Open Meetings Act Training on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 were
President Robinson, Secretary Barretta, and Director Mans. Certificates will be provided to the
Commission by City of Allen City Secretary, Shelley George.
Other attendees at this training included Tom Brandt, James Baudoin, and Kathleen Vaught.
Adjournment
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Director Mans and a second by Secretary Barretta, the Board of
Directors voted three(3) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Regular Meeting of the Arts
of Collin County Commission, Inc. at 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, 2006.
The motion carried.
