Robinson, President Maher Maso, Vice -President David Sterling, Treasurer Nick Barretta, Secretary Betty Mons, Board Member (absent) ACCC Staff: James Baudoin, Executive Director Mary Vail -Grube, Administrative Director Kathleen Vaught, Sr. Administrative Assistant Design Team Members: Elke Altenburger, boors Stan Boles, boom Larry Gregg, boom Jon McGrew, boors Beverly Moss, boom Irene Ng, boora Michael Tingley, boors Stephen Weeks, boors Tim Anderson, Hargreaves Mary Margaret Jones, Hargreaves John Coyne, Theatre Project Consultants Benton Delinger, Theatre Project Consultants John Ruma, Theatre Project Consultants Kevin Cain, Hunt Construction Larry Steffen, Hunt Construction Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present With a quorum of the Board Members present, the Arts of Collin County Public Forum was called to order by President Robinson at 7:02 p.m. on Thursday, May 11. 2006, in City of Allen City Council Chambers Update on the Arts Project President Robinson provided a brief overview of the project including the current status of the design process. Architect Overview Mr. Tingley, Mr. Boles and Ms. Jones discussed the goals, process, program goals, phase one programming and future programming As part of the discussion, an overview of the site was provided. Open Discussions President Robinson requested anyone wishing to speak or ask questions regarding the design for this project, to do so at this time. Jack Lagos, 3120 Oxford Court, Plano, Texas, posed the question regarding the definition of the "donor's room" as described in the design and its intended uses. Terry McCracken, 6049 Star Trail Drive, Frisco, Texas, and member of the ACC Advisory Committee posed questions regarding the back of house operations and facilities for use by resident or touring artists, companies, and/or their personnel. Jennifer Garrett, 810 Maxwell Creek, Allen, Texas, posed questions regarding multiple, simultaneous use of the performing arts hall. ARTS OF COLLIN COUNTY COMMISSION, INC. PUBLIC FORUM MAY 11, 2006 PAGE The Board expressed its appreciation to the public for providing their comments at this important stage of the process and encouraged the public to attend the future public forums and regular Board of Directors meetings as called or scheduled. MOTION: Upon a motion made by Treasurer Sterling and a second by Secretary Barretts, the Board of Directors voted four (4) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Arts of Collin County Commission Public Forum at g, 10 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2006 These minutes approved on the 24ih day of May, 2006.
