Call to Order and Annotmce a Ouomm is Present
With a quorum of the Board of Directors present, the Regular Meeting of the Arts of Collin County
Commission, Inc. was called to order by President Matthews at 4:30 pm. on Wednesday, December 12,
2007, in the Council Conference Room at Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas.
This meeting was not recorded due to the tape reorder not working. The meeting continued with the approval of Stere
Matthews and Tom Brandt.
Public Comment
1. General Discussion
There was no public comment.
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Secretary Sterling and a second by Treasurer Bartetta, the
Board of Directors voted five (5) for and none (0) opposed to approve and adopt the
items on the Consent agenda as follows:
2. Approve Minutes from October 22, 2007 Special Called Meeting.

3. Receive Financial Report for the Period Ended October 31, 2007.
The motion carred.
4. Introduction of Advisory Committee Members to the Board of Directors and Committee
Update.
Received introduction from Mary Vail -Grube.
5. Administer Oath of Office and present Certificate of Appointment to new members of
the Advisory Committee. Advisory Committee Appointments — Aaron Chowning, City of
Melissa, Dr. Daryl Trent, Frisco ISD, Kathy Kuddes, Plano ISD.
Robyn Battle administered Oaths of Office and presented Certificates of Appointment to the
three new Advisory Committee members.
6. Accept Deliverables from Design Team for completion of Construction Documents
Phase of project and update on project status.
Received project stams from James Baudoin.
�! 7. Receive report on status of application to the City of Dallas for water rights related to
® Rowlett Creek
Received status of application for water rights from Dennis Abraham.
S. Receive report on native demonstration garden project in cooperation with Collin
County Master Gardeners.
Received report on native demonstration garden project from James Baudom and Dennis
Abraham.
9. Receive Update from the Arts of Collin County Foundation Executive Director Pam
Wendland.
Received update from Pam Wendland.
10. Receive Executive Director's Report.
There was no Executive Director Report.
11. Present plaque to outgoing Board Member, Mr. David Sterling (Allen) in appreciation
for his service to the ACC.
Plaque was presented to David Sterling by Steve Matthews.
