Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present.
With a quorum of the Board Members present, the Arts of Collin County Special Called Meeting
1 Strategic Planning Session was called to order by President Matthews at 8:40 a.m. on Thursday, May
15, 2008, in the Allen Public Library 1" floor meeting room, 300 North Allen Drive, Allen, Texas.

Upon a motion by Vice President Maso and second by Director Nies, the special called meeting strategic
planning session recessed at 12:40 p.m.
3. Executive Session
In accordance with the Texas Government Code, the Arts of Collin County Commission convened
into Executive Session at 12 43 p.m on Thursday, May 15, 2008, in the Allen Public Library Board
Room, 300 North Allen Drive, Allen, Texas, for the purpose of consulting with legal counsel
regarding matters coveted by Texas Government Code Section 551 071(l) — (2) and Texas
Government Code Section 551.073 — deliberation regarding pending gift or donation to discuss:

The Board of Directors reconvened at 135 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2008, in the Allen Public
Irbrary 1" floor meeting room.
There was no action taken on items discussed during Executive Session.
Adjoumment
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Vice President Maso, and a second by Director Nies, the Board of
Directors voted five (5) for and none (0) opposed to adjourn the Special Called Meeting
Strategic Planning Session of the .Arts of Collin Counts Commission, Inc. at 1.35 p.m. on
Thursday, May 15, 3008.
