Present : Mayor Pro-Tem-C.E. Ottaway
Aldermen : R. B. Whisenant, Phil Pringle and Jimmy Gantt.
Meeting called to order by Mayor Pro-Tem C. E. Ottaway.
Motion by Jimmy Gantt to pay bills presented to the Council
by the City Secretary. Seconded by R. B. Whisenant. Motion Passed
Ayes 3, Noes none.
The City Council discussed placing a water line to the
Medical Clinic and Pharmacy.
Motion by Phil Pringle that property owners be assessed as follows:
A. Total cost of customers meter box, valve and installation and
road crossing.
B, 25% of the cost of laying a 6" line as required, less the cost
of fire plug, valves, and fittings.
Seconded by Jimmy Gantt, Motion Passed--Ayes 3, Noes none.
Motion by Phil Pringle to call a Special Meeting, for the
purpose of reporting on the development of the Sewer Plant, at the
earliest date possible. Motion seconded by R. B. Whisenant, Motion
Passed--Ayes 3, Noes none.
