Agenda Item #5 was tabled to the next Regular Meeting of the Arts of Collin County Commission, Inc.
The Regular Session was recessed at 4.06 p.m.
Executive Session
In accordance with the Texas Government Code, the Arts of Collin County Commission, Inc. convened
into Executive Session at 4:07 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2010, in the Executive Conference Room,
in the Council Conference Room at _Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkwav, Allen, Texas:

The Executive Session Adjourned at 4:45 p.m.
6. Reconvene and Consider Action on Items Discussed during Executive Session.
The Board of Directors reconvened into regular session at 4:46 p.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2010 in
the Council Conference Room at Allen City Hall, 305 Century Parkway, Allen, Texas.
There was no action taken on items discussed during Executive Session.
President Baggett returned to Agenda Item #4.

4. Presentation by Matt Shaheen, Collin County Commissioner - $500,000 Open Space
Grant Award Check to the Arts of Collin County to develop the Six Cities Trail and
Ridgeview Drive Trail.

Commissioner Matt Shaheen presented a $500,000 Open Space Grant Award Check to the Arts of
Collin County to develop the Six Cines Trail and Rtdgeview Drive Trial.

7. Authorize Executive Director to enter into gift agreement accepting donation of statue
to Arts of Collin County Commission. (Mike Simpson, Executive Director)
MOTION: Upon a motion made by Secretary Nies and a second by Director Minvatd, the Board of
Directors voted four (4) for and none (0) opposed to authorize the Executive Director
to enter into gift agreement accepting donation of statue to Arts of Collin County
Commission. The motion earned.
